CANCELLED October 19: One Day Sheep and Goat Seminar: Saturday, October 19th, 2013
University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Prof. John Porter of UNH will present a seminar from 9am-4pm (check-in 8:15-8:45am) at the Kennebec Valley Community College in Fairfield, Maine on housing and equipment for small ruminants. This UMaine Extension seminar is offered in cooperation with the Maine Sheep Breeders Association, the Boer Goat Breeders of Maine and regional dairy goat associations of Maine.

RESCHEDULED to Oct 25 BOD MeetingOctober 19: MSBA Annual Meeting and dinner. 6pm at the Kennebec Valley Community College, Fairfield, ME. Dinner will feature lamb, prepared by Lisa Webster (North Star Farms) and her mother Linda Daigle. The agenda of the evening will in-clude awarding of the Shepherd of the Year Award, and featured speakers. Details will be announced on the MSBA website
RESCHEDULED November 25: This will also be the MSBA Annual Meeting BOD meeting at the Great Wall Buffet, Augusta, ME. We meet at 6pm to eat; business meeting starts at 6:30pm. We will discuss events for 2014, and elect new board members. All MSBA members are welcome to attend.
